Hey everyone!
Josh here once again bringing you MexAir's weekly news!
A lot to cover this week. Many of you may have already saw this information in your emails. If you haven't I am just going to pretty much reiterate what was already said.
The first thing is we have everything covered for indoor flying this winter! We will be flying at the Mexico Academy Elementary school gymnasium (ME1, inside the school). This is a full basketball court with high ceilings. Our first session is on October 16th from 6pm-9pm. It will be held every Thursday up until April 9th (right around Easter). Unfortunately Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day all fall on Thursdays so we will not be flying during those days. We will be following the Mexico Academy school closings as well if the weather gets real bad. So if you watch on the news and see "No after school activities - Mexico Schools Closed," that means we will not be flying that day. You may also check here at our website - mexairrc.boards.net for updates or simply call us at the shop for verification - 315-532-6826.
The address for the school is:
26 Academy Street
Mexico, NY 13114
It is very easy to get to and is almost right in the center of town. If you need directions feel free to call.
I will be waiting outside the first couple of times to direct people to where they need to go and there will be signs throughout the halls to get you where we need to be so no worries there.
AMA will be required - no exceptions. We will, however, be able to provide you with AMA immediately on site or here at the shop.
There will be a $5 entry fee for any adults that plan to fly. KIDS FLY FOR FREE! AMA FOR KIDS IS ALSO FREE. Spectators are also welcome and free to enter.
I will be going to the school next week sometime to have a good look around to see what we need (if anything) and I'll try to take some pictures and post them on the website for you all to see.
Second course of business is we finally have all of our dealerships open! That includes Great Planes (towerhobbies) and Horizon Hobby and many more. If you need/want anything ordered feel free to stop in and see us in Mexico or just call at 315-532-6826.
Third notice is we finally have our credit card processing fixed!! It took three weeks (no exaggeration) for our CC company to fix the problems and we are now good to go.
Last thing to go over is regarding the website. As I stated before this will be the main area to find information on the shop here, new products, updates on indoor/outdoor flying, fast response to your questions etc etc... We have implemented "member only" promotions only viewable by those who are signed onto the website. That's all you have to do! Be logged into the website and save! New Promos will be added every Sunday after the weekly news and will last until the following Saturday.
Well, that's all I have for this week.
As always we appreciate your continued patronage and for keeping up to date on what is going on here,
Josh
